As the backbone of our kitchen, you are the critical support that allows our chefs to perform their magic. Core Function Specific Responsibilities & Impact
Food Preparation & Support
  • Provide vital support to the entire kitchen team in the preparation of a diverse range of traditional and modern dishes.
  • Execute precise mise en place—washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients to the exact specifications of the chefs.
  • Assist with the preparation of bases, sauces, and garnishes, forming the building blocks of our culinary offerings.
Plating & Presentation
  • Plate and dress dishes according to established standards, ensuring every plate is visually appealing and consistent.
  • Work the pass during service, helping to coordinate the final assembly and expediting of meals before they are collected by servers.
  • Learn and maintain the high standards of presentation that define the Sonnenalm dining experience.
Quality & Hygiene Assurance
  • Uphold the highest standards of freshness, balance, and quality in every task you perform.
  • Rigorously adhere to all HACCP and food safety protocols, ensuring a clean and compliant workspace at all times.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and report any concerns immediately, acting as a guardian of our culinary standards.
Kitchen Maintenance
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including work surfaces, equipment, and utensils, to maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene.
